A Filipino national was sentenced to one month in jail by the Bandar Magistrate's Court yesterday after he pleaded guilty to producing a misleading document to an Immigration officer.

The court heard that the defendant, Dario Tapican Diaz, 59, produced a passport bearing the name, 'Johnny Navalez Cabrera', to an Immigration officer at the Serasa Ferry Terminal upon his arrival from Labuan three days ago.
